*if you happen to be anywhere near these campuses. Late summer is soon to drift into fall which means that I, like Rodney Dangerfield, will be going back to school. I have a nice line-up of college shows and more are being added every day. Here's a quick rundown:
I'll be adding shows to the calendar as soon as they are confirmed, stay posted!
If you look closely at the list of colleges above you'll see that right there in the middle is a school in Hawai'i, which means I'll be making my first-ever trip to the Aloha state! And not only will it be my first time in our 50th state, it will be my 50th state. I will have finally hit them all! Woo! All fifty! What do I win? [Voice From On High] "What do you win, Rob? A deeper appreciation for this great land of ours." Sweet. Free Credit Report commercials are secretly elitist! Did you know that those free credit report commercials were really an elitist message to keep you down? Well, you do now. Here's a clip of me doing an honest version of the commercial: It's been called "The World's First Honest Kids' Video"
That's what Momlogic.com called my video for The Children's Song. It's been getting a great response online and at shows, and I've even heard from some moms who told me their toddlers actually like it too! It's scary, really. Check it out and show it to your frazzled parent friends everywhere! And if you haven't yet seen the nerd-core throw-down:
Here's a live clip of one of my favorite songs from my latest CD, Pushing Band Candy. It explores the dark side of music department fundraisers, and yes, I actually rap. Consider it acoustic nerdcore for marching band geeks. Represent! It's been getting a great response so far on YouTube, so check it out, leave a comment, and send it to your friends! Thanks for checking in!That's it for now, thanks for stopping by. You can always check in and get the latest at my facebook page, my myspace page (remember myspace? it's still there!) as well as my twitter feed. So many ways to stay in touch. Please do! Yours in rock, RobP
