Midwestern nice meets big city confidence
Rob was born and raised in Waukegan, Illinois, an industrial, working class city north of Chicago that is home to another musically-inclined comedian: the legendary Jack Benny. With the help of an academic scholarship Rob went to the University of Southern California and earned a writing degree, then returned to Chicago to study improv and sketch comedy at the Second City Training Center. The Midwestern roots, smarts, and comedic instincts have laid the foundation for an innovative and successful comedy career.
